Picture frame prices in Nigeria (2026): what a framed photo costs
At MKFrames a framed photo costs from ₦8,000 for an 8×10 basic portrait frame to ₦120,000 for a 48×72, including the print. A word portrait — your photo drawn in words you choose — costs from ₦15,000 to ₦200,000. Gold frames add ₦0 and natural wood or silver ₦0; delivery by dispatch rider is charged by area, or pick up free in Abuja.
How much is a picture frame in Nigeria?
Most of the price is the size. A desk-size 8×10 costs ₦8,000 as a basic portrait frame; the popular 16×20 costs ₦15,000; a 24×36 statement frame costs ₦40,000. These prices include printing your photo, so you do not pay separately for the print.
What does a word portrait cost?
A word portrait (our custom text frame) redraws your photo in the words you choose — birthday wishes, tributes, a love letter — with an optional name plate, designed by hand and approved by you as a proof. It starts at ₦15,000 for 8×10, ₦30,000 for 16×20 and ₦70,000 for 24×36. The full price list is on the sizes page.
What else changes the price?
- Frame colour: black and white are included; gold adds ₦0; natural wood and silver add ₦0.
- Rush production: ₦5,000 for a frame ready in 24 hours, when the studio has capacity.
- Delivery: one fee per order, set by your area — Lagos Mainland costs less than the Island or Lekki–Ajah — and by car for 36×48 and 48×72 frames. Pickup from the Abuja studio is free.
Why do cheap frames look soft?
Often the photo, not the frame, is the problem. A photo forwarded on WhatsApp is shrunk to about 1600 pixels, which only prints sharp up to 8×10. Our builder checks your photo against every size before you pay, so you never pay for a print that will look blurred.
