Frame care guide
To keep a framed photo looking new, dust it weekly with a dry microfibre cloth, hang it away from direct sunlight and damp walls, and use two hooks for frames 20×24 and larger. Clean acrylic glazing with a soft damp cloth only — paper towels and glass cleaner can scratch or cloud it.
Dust gently
Wipe the frame and glazing with a dry microfibre cloth once a week. Never spray cleaner directly onto the frame.
Keep it out of direct sun
Strong sunlight fades prints over time. Hang frames on walls that do not get afternoon sun.
Avoid damp walls
Keep frames away from bathrooms, kitchens and walls that get damp in the rainy season.
Hang securely
Use two hooks for frames 20×24 and larger, so they hang level and the weight is shared.
Cleaning glass and acrylic
Glass can be cleaned with a little glass cleaner sprayed onto a cloth, never onto the frame. Acrylic (used on large frames) scratches easily: use only a soft, slightly damp microfibre cloth.
Moving and storing
Wrap frames in bubble wrap with card on the corners and store them upright, not flat under other things.
